- What do I need in order to use Streema?
- I have a Mac and some radio stations simply don't work. What's going on?
- And what about Linux?
You can also enjoy Streema in Linux if you are using Ubuntu and Mozilla Firefox. To do so, follow the next steps. First, open the Package Manager. Then, select and install the following packages: "gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad", "gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly", "gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse", "mplayer" and "gecko-mediaplayer". That's it!
Note: if you have VLC installed, this might not work.
- My browser is alerting about missing plugins. What can I do?
First, make sure you have both Windows Media Player and Real Player installed. If Firefox is alerting you about missing plugins you should install the WMP Firefox plugin. You can download it here (it will enable you to control the volume and know the status of the stream for many more stations).
- Why does the stream keep buffering?
There are many radio stations that stream at a very high quality, which is great when you have a broadband connection - but not so great when you are using dialup! You'll also notice that many stations take a long time to load (even up to two minutes) even if you have a broadband connection. That's unfortunately something that is unrelated to Streema.
- A radio isn't working very well and I want to let you guys know about it.
There is a very simple way to alert us about radio streams that are having problems. Just fill out our Report a Radio form. And that's it!
- Contact Us
If you have any further questions, feedback or just want to say hi, please write to us at email@example.com
If you want to reach a radio station, please do not use this form. In order to contact a station directly, please click here for more information. Bear in mind that Streema is a radio directory where you can organize and play all your favorite TV and radio stations. Thanks!
