When a station is not working on Streema, it might be due to one of the following reasons:
- An issue with the station’s server: The station will start playing once they solve the problem.
- The station is geo-blocked: Sometimes, Radio Owners decide to restrict their content to a specific geographic region.
- The station has a listener limit: It will be unavailable once it reaches the limit.
- The radio has a subscription model or requires login: In these circumstances, the station is only available via its official site to users who have paid to subscribe to the radio or have an account on the official site.
- The radio does not stream 24/7: When a radio streams at a specific time frame, it can become unavailable when it is off the air.
- The radio is No Longer Broadcasting or No Longer Streaming Online.
- The radio is Temporarily Unavailable
No Longer Broadcasting, No Longer Streaming Online #
When a station stops its web broadcast, we label it No Longer Broadcasting or No Longer Streaming Online, if they only stopped their online streaming.
These radio stations have a message box that looks like this:
We do this to inform you and all listeners why the station is not available. However, we keep the station’s profile and, if they resume their broadcasting signal, we update it.
Temporarily Unavailable Stations #
If a station stops its web broadcast temporarily or is going under maintenance, a message box on the Station Profile saying “Oops, no streams currently available” might appear.
The message box looks like this:
