Unfortunately, no.
Subscriptions can’t be transferred between the App Store and Google Play. This isn’t a Simple Radio limitation; it’s how both platforms work.
A subscription purchased through the App Store is billed and managed by Apple, and one purchased through Google Play is billed and managed by Google. These two systems don’t communicate with each other, so there’s no way to move a subscription from one to the other.
How do I switch platforms? #
If you’re moving from an iPhone to an Android device (or the other way around):
- Cancel your current subscription on the original platform (App Store or Google Play)
- Subscribe again through the new platform’s store.
If you switch platforms partway through your subscription, you’ll lose access to the time you’ve already paid for on the original platform. For example, if you’re on a yearly plan and switch after 6 months, you’d still have 6 months remaining, but since that time can’t be transferred to your new subscription, it’s worth requesting a refund for the unused portion before or after you cancel.

How do refunds work? #
Refunds are processed by the store you subscribed through, since they handle all billing:
- Subscribed via Google Play? Reach out to us at simple@streema.com. Please share the Google Play subscription confirmation number (Order ID) in your email. You can also find this 17-character ID (formatted as
GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX) in your confirmation email from Google Play, and we’ll be happy to assist you. - Subscribed via the App Store? Apple handles all billing and refunds for iOS subscriptions directly, so we’re not able to process these on our end. You can request a refund quickly and easily straight from Apple here: reportaproblem.apple.com
